So recently, i've found interest into mage and I enjoy it even though i'm only like level 10 xD but how do you build mage for good results? I know Intelligence would be a good stat to have but I would like to know where to start to have a successful build.

I'm interested in this too. I was told just to get 100 intelligence (I have 172 skill points once I use a scroll), but I wasn't really told what to do after that. Although I will tell you, it's a good idea to invest a little bit into agility - at least 30 points to wear Crystal leggings or 35 to wear Spectre helmet, both of these are really nice for mages though they're quite a ways down the line (around level 70 as you probably already know) so not a first priority.

I will build my Mage as Int primary, Agi secondary, and Def last UNTIL endgame. Then I will switch to Water/Fire Mage with Defense as my secondary.

This is basically what I have, but mines Def second, and a very small amount in strength (I want to say 6 points). I'm starting out with the Steam Mage (water/fire Mage) build.

I, myself, have always been a fan of the "Battlemage" idea. So, I invest most of my skill points into Intelligence, and as my secondary I put into Defence. This being said, I also like to have my Agility, Dexterity, and Strength at equal numbers. (atm they are 20)

Idk, right now I'm just plopping what i can to fit my armor reqs. At 100 i plan to use cascade, which requires 16 in each) and strength/int stuff. Heavy hits with a bit of diversity, lots of mana, fast attack speed, and solid hp.

I am using high Water and Thunder, a little Earth, and minimal Air and Fire. Water because Mage needs all the mana it can get, Thunder because I like Thunder weapons' fast attack speed, and Earth because Mage is low on damage.

Thanks for all feedback. I'm going to try to test out all of these because these new elements on weapons and gear really makes a difference with the classes. I want to try going for a fast but strong mage with tons of mana, so maybe STR, INT, & DEF? Idk. I'll just wing it as I go :P

EDIT: I might get gear with a lot of Thunder & Water just like @TrashcanMan idea. It seems to have the build i'm looking for in mind. But since I like variety of choices i'm going to try many things :)
