Do Not Identify More Than A Few Items At Once.

    I was in the world and I haven't played on my level 44 character since the Gavel update right. So I go to identify all of my gear (mostly legendary and a rare) which costed a little over 1000 emeralds. I just identify and boom the server shuts down (not an actual restart as I got no notification). I log back on into a different server and I don't have any of the gear I identified (all my gear). And an another punch in the stomach would be that I still payed the 1000 emeralds as well. I would really like some assistance with this. This kinda ruins the game for me and its a great server so I want to keep playing.

    there is a no-refund policy, and even if there was we have no clue what your armour was or have any proof you had it in the first place..

    but if you ask nicely some people would give you free gear ;)

    I do have a helmet to prove that I played before the update for credibility, and seriously why would I lie about this. I literally lost everything...

    You don't have a clue how much it sucks that I lost this stuff, I remember all of the time I put into to getting these items and there are just gone like that. I really did have a legendary shear, as well as a bow, and piece of armor. I would love to tell you the names but they were however they were unidentified and I only had a second to look at my identified gear

    Well..... I guess happy New Year to me v.v.... Wooo..... so happy to loose my items.... the best start to a new year yet.... :(

    Why does no one understand the no refund policy..
    Edit: I think it would have been a good idea to NOT ID EVERY SINGLE ITEM AT THE SAME TIME.

    Did it really cost 1k emeralds to id all your stuff? I spent 700 emeralds to id a full pregavel endgame set and bobs mythic bow :/

    Yeah, It really cost 1k and that most likely was because of the extra legendary bow I threw in... and @ThatScarfDude, Why is there the option to identify more than one item if your not suppose to do it, and why would I think that I would loose all of my gear from a server crash? Also I have already decided never to trust item identifiers again so your telling me nothing I didn't already notice. I was asking for help not criticism... Good thing I had a few friends to help me get some gear because traveling around with ten heath in a high level zone is not fun. And I am perfectly fine with loosing my items at this point and more opt to prevent other people from encountering the same issue. And another bonus, I don't remember mentioning a refund at all.

    I know what its like to lose something. I had at least 50 different Minecraft worlds, each had awesome creations and the like. And then my computer died and I was never able to recover those files.
    But the reason there is a no-refund policy is because they really cannot trust anyone unless you have a video or a picture showcasing the event when it happened. For all we know, you could have put all your items in your bank and on another character and you're only doing this for a quick LE or so. Not saying you are, however.
    The best thing to do is maybe ask some friends for gear, money, stuff like that. Sorry that you lost all that, though. At least you didn't have a Mythic :P

    @Keeko100 Glad to see someone here knows what it is like, and I understand why they don't have a refund policy. And your right it could've been much worse, right now my friend went and bought me some armor and I bought myself a better weapon and can now barely survive so it is a start... I only wish it was as easy to get lucky drops from dungeons as it used to be :weary:....

    Oh calm down... I lost a set of champ armor and a Bob's mythic bow xD

    You just keep playing anyways. Regardless, level 44 isn't too hard to recover from, at least the gear is easier to replace

    Okay, so first off, I'm gonna break down what is going on here for you to understand.

    You make a thread lamenting over how you lost your items in an incident that is not uncommon.

    Scarfy (and I did) interpret your post as a passive-aggressive way of demanding a refund.

    You respond with a second passive-aggressive response to Scarfy's post.

    Now to explain why you seem like you are begging for items and being passive-aggressive.

    Your first post is literally only complaining, which is common behavior in people to draw sympathy. You never state your friend (you could have edited that in or announced it) bought you items to help get you on your feet. Many people interpreted you complaining as trying to draw sympathy and to prey on those kind enough to help you.

    You also flat out are passive-aggressive in your second post. You use wording such as "And another bonus" and proceed to discredit Scarfy's statements.

    You never explicitly stated anything mean, but your words implied things that brought about backlash.

    I'm not nice enough to explain every detail, so I'll leave you some advice.

    Make sure you are primarily respectful of people. It's okay to be stern when needed, but don't be mean for no reason.

    Well I just recently accidentally hit Q while puzzle solving and threw my bob's bow into a hopper with no way to get it back... So I get your pain... On a related topic, I really, REALLY hate the pure diorite bow...

    @Flubby™ Lol I'm not trying to be mean or trying to demand a refund its just how it came out. I don't like to be criticized for something that was pretty much a normal reaction to someone who lost all of their items. And I took it as him calling me an idiot, though I didn't know about the no refund policy until I posted this and got a reply... If I would've known, I wouldn't have posted it in the first place. That was my reason for being "mean". I try to be as respectful as possible and I understand that this is basically a post of me complaining about lost items. And @ThatScarfDude Sorry if I disrespected you if you didn't mean to disrespect me... And to that I end my ridiculously unneeded long post.....
