    Lately I have had some trubles with my black horse, it is running much slower than it was before the Gavel update, is that something that have been changed? note that my black horse has the stats of 20/20.

    No, everything else is not "lagging", it's just my horse who is slower.

    @Mr_Valle yes, that is the effects of lag when ridding a horse (similar to how boats teleport you back a few blocks if there's too much lag), my black horse is the same, when there's lag it's much slower

    As @Naraka00 stated above, lag has differing effects on different ways of transport. Boats, as mentioned, don't slow down or stop, they simply rubber-band back as the server does not recognize the distance it covered during the lag spike. Minecarts I do not use enough to know the effects of, but I imagine they would perform the same as horses with a slowed movement speed though. Horses do not, or rarely, suffer from the rubber-banding problem as boats do; instead, horses suffer from vastly reduced mobility or just plain immobility. All horses, on average, will likely be slower than plain sprinting until lag is fixed. I myself have a chestnut horse, and it seems to be more interested in learning how to crawl at the speed of an inchworm instead of the glorious lightspeed it is capable of. It's a sad day when shifting moves faster than a maxed chestnut horse ;-;
    R.I.P. My horse until lag eases and allows it to actually move again.

    Trust me, it's just the new update. You might find your horse to be slower than normal for a week or two until the hype dies down, and things go back to normal.

    I've used the minecarts when there's lag, and they act the same as the horses, they don't rubber band like the boats, but they are much slower.

    Thank you :3
    I think I've used a minecart like twice. My guess on how they would behave is just based on the fact that they seem closer to horses than boats and that they normally lag anyway.
