Wynncraft And Minecraft 1.9

I was wondering what do you all think about 1.9 and wynncraft. Because of mine crafts new combat update the difficulty of wynncraft will amp up quite a bit a bit as spam clicking will not be as good and also shields will be added and many new blocks capable of making Dern a reality in the realm. What are your thoughts on this?

Spam clicking will completely ruin the spell clicking system. Unless there is another way of doing the spell system, which is good because it is unique, then it wouldn't be very good. Besides, has Wynn even updated to 1.8 yet? I think it has because of how a few Gavel quests have worked but I'm not sure.

 

Yes it has actually which surprised me as well. But the spell clicking system would be the same. I'm pretty sure but attacking normally would be almost impossible and make spells almost necessary to live...

 

They already edit the attack speed. I'm sure Jumla will wait to update it until they have a plugin that blocks the 1.9 combat stuff.

 

I heard someone say once that the code for clicking means that spells can't be used. Maybe there is a way round this... but anyway, 1.9 isn't out yet and it took Wynn about a year to update to 1.8.

 

One thing I look forward to possibly seeing in Wynncraft though is the Elytra....does anyone know if there is a possibility that it will be incorporated into Wynn?

 

It took Wynn a year and three months to update to 1.8! xD

Welp, 1.9 isn't going to be released anytime soon so I guess we'll have to wait until at least mid-2017 until they update to 1.9. Meanwhile, people will be enjoying (and complaining about) 2.3.10 :p

 

IF they decide on a second version. Instead of 2.3.10, it will probably be something like 1.12.10 (or 1.13.10, not sure).

 

Yeah, version numbers aren't decimal numbers. They could release 1.420.17_2bananaswag for all I know about XD

 

Actually, there is something really good about the update. 1.9 allows the ability to add a different texture to each item durability, so they could add thousands of weapons if they put the time in. They did it for armor, why not for weapons too?

 

Spam-clicking wouldn't mess up the spell system. At all. There's nothing actually disabling spam-clicking, it just makes your attacks less powerful. And that wouldn't really affect a spell cuz it's not a normal attack.

 

I think I've got mixed up with something... oh well.

 

But actually if i remember you can use comand block stuff to change the attack speed

 

1.9 ruins Minecraft so 1.9 would ruin Wynncraft.
It has some good stuff about it, but seriously, wings?! SHIELDS?! DISABLING SPAM-CLICKING?

All though the attack speed can be changed, the ability to quickly quick will be added back...

 

Spam Clicking for standard Melee damage isn't actually affected in Wynn's case. Every weapon has a standard attack range outside of the normal range meaning it is dealing damage in an area and not your exact crosshair. Right clicking won't be changed either. The time it takes to hit again is not affected considering it is not exactly the item dealing the damage.

 

Haven't you guys noticed the the weapons are blocks? The attack speed which 1.9 has introduced won't effect the attack speed of our weapons ;)

 

Attack speed cooldown doesn't make a difference.
Spells are gonna be a problem.

 

Guys what we should really be worrying about, are how path blocks going to affect Wynncraft.
