Doesn't Wynncraft Reminds You Of Runescape?

I know everyone hates it but everyone played it and in some way lvoed it.
All the quests and unlockables and items remind me of it

what do you guys think??

 

I've never played Runescape in my life ._.

 

umm this server is based off of it

 

It reminds more of Lord Of The Rings or World Of Warcraft, Who thinks the same?

 

Duh, it's a freaking RPG. Oblivion also has quests, towns with various merchants, attributes that can be assigned upon leveling, enchants (identifications) etc. but it's not Wynncraft.

 

I don't think so at all... No skills and you don't level based on skilling. Also quests are in pretty much all RPGs. Same for items. I'd say this is way more like WoW or something.

 

Wynncraft reminds me more of MapleStory than Runescape...

I haven't played WoW so I can't say anything about that.

 

Reminds me of Terraria

 

I feel like its closer to Starbound than it is to Terraria. (mainly because of the fact that weapons have a attack and a skill)

no because runescape quests required you to get random items from nowhere near the quest locations.

Huh now I'm a bit interested how they managed to make it so different then :o or maybe rs was one of the games? I'm sure the owners and devs have had other experiences with RPGs :P
- edit: after what salted said, yeah diablo seems to fit the scene well (diablo has the same makers as wow if someone doesn't know)

 

I keep noticing BoI item names in Wynncraft. The zodiac signs might be a coincidence but you definitely used some rune names :D

 

I never played Runescape, but it looked like World of Warcraft

Sooo... I guess there are similaraties between the two games :P

 

I can't see TBoI at all in wynncraft. How was it inspired from it?
