Ok so theres 3 of them seeing the "third" is in the name and we found 2 OFF TO FIND THE 3RD ONE

But there's no way to get up there currently (Maybe it's in a quest that hasn't been implemented yet? Must be.).

 

I got mine from killing an orc guard in a quest.

 

Proof?

I've been to the Eastern Borders, but what I found there is nothing. Literally. There are no NPCs, not even any mobs. For example, I found a 'rouge bandit' camp, with no bandits at all. I believe that the Staff have yet to fully create whatever lies there.

In regards to "an encampent towards the sun first shines". The sun's light first hits the outer edges of the East Gavelian Mountains, and then the Western ones. Perhaps the next place to look is on the other side of Gavel?

I was on when @Abandonedbank said the tablets were part of a deleted quest. However, if the is a sign in front of a cave that reads /!\DANGER KEEP OUT/!\ it just makes me more likely to explore that cave. Bank is just trying to throw us off

 

Can confirm there is nothing at the ice castle. Not even a loot chest.

In fact, I'm 99% sure there are none in the Floating Islands or in Molten Heights.

 

A mob dropped this at an orc camp but i was too stupid to notice it was a map xD

Instead of telling us how to level it, can you provide pictures on what the leveled versions look like? So that we can translate them.

Well, in vanilla minecraft, you can increase the scale of a map and increase the size of it if you craft it together, has anyone tried that? Maybe getting a bunch of them and crafting them together might work and give new clues.

 

Guys guys guys, there's no big mystery behind the stone tablets. They're all just part of a deleted quest. There's no huge piece of lore, and frankly I don't know how those drops are still in-game.
