Mage wasn't very good before Gavel.
But now healing is great! (Especially for quests like ToA and Hive)
Meteor is also buffed a bit and I love it's AoE damage.
Ice Snake is bit bugged now I think? It doesn't freeze enemies anymore.

Mages are very good at soloing bosses now, too! ^-^

Mage is freaking amazing. I've never tried it before the update but I know how everyone always called it underpowered, it's really good now.

Here is a meteor at level 32.

149 water damage+214 thunder damage+65 fire damage+22 neutral damage+65 earth damage=515 damage

 

What in the name of Salted is the weapon which makes you do 515 damage? Because not even my op level 47 dark wizard does that much damage.

 

Where did you get all of that other damage then XD. I mean, I'm pretty sure you didn't get all of the water and thunder damage from that wand.

 

Mage just for supporting with bosses :p I got gear that gives me 18k HP so I heal others for 12k

 

Spell damage is based on DPS which is very high for this wand.

I found a sage but sold it cause I didn't expect to level this quickly ;-;

 

I also had this wand and made only 400 damge with it ;-:

My lvl 65 mage is running arround with a sage wand (lvl 47 legendary) and I do 2-3K damage with one meteor :D

 

Dude get a sage. It hits at least 2k in dmg depending on your build. If you want I could sell you one for a reasonable price (took awhile to outgrow Sage. My Lv 58 Rare finally was better XD)

 

I like to find items for myself. Still, I can easily kill bosses around my level so I'm fine for now. Though it is a bit annoying that my boots are level 34 when I'm level 34. I can never find good boots. Most of them require agility.

 

mage is prob the best for gavel, you cant do qira without mages, but if u did a group with over 15 people being mages only you could do qira, but if u did it with any other class you wouldnt be able too, heal is too op 4 me.

 

lol all you need is like 3-5 mages spamming heal one after another in center while everyone else is shooting Meteors at the boss XD

Yea honestly Archer really is has the best maneuverability. Well-timed escapes can even overtake 30/30 chestnut horses before Gavel made them laggy. With Archer I felt really free since escape is pretty much like flying backwards, which makes it even more chill :3

 

-Mage is a useful and strong class, but it lacks of variety, your just spamming the same spells over and over again, it gets boring after a while (unless you love to spam spells). Mage is also a Mana dependent class, so if you run out of mana, your doomed
-Archer is extremely easy to kill, and unlike most classes, its neutral attack only attacks 1 mob instead of attacking multiple mobs and its harder to hit a moving target, so its another mana dependent class. But it has high its good in terms of damage, mobility, and stealth.
-Assassin is hard to master but it can be fun if finally get used to it. You can kill mobs faster or sneek up on mobs. You have stealth and high DPS in your advantage. However, its a mana hungry class, so your easier to kill and weaker if you don't use your mana wisely.
-Warrior is able to last longer in a fight due to its high defence. But you get a feeling that your always slow and using up so much mana. It doesn't have a high DPS like all the others, so it takes more time to kill mobs or bosses.
