Well I personally think it's still in the realm of possibility that this is just a red herring easter egg, but it was suggested the first 4 could be Bob's trainers and the 5th being Bob.

I don't think, in all stories a group of heroes is from different races, here we only have dwarves

Now this is my theory, with regard to the tablets.

That says almost the same for my Kratke. (Forged out of a rivalry proving the forger was better) (paraphrased)

 

Actually the tablet is dropped by a goblin (or some other race) guard I think. I went back there today to check it out.

That's the best I can think.
The first one is Us because we fight for Wynn, and we solve the puzzles in quests.
The second is King of Troms for helping as a leader in the fight against corruption.
The third is Bob for being the greatest warrior Wynn once deserved.
The forth is Amadel for is efforts in having power over Wynn Excavaion (pretty sure), trying to take over Wynn and keep his glory.
The fifth is the god of death form Tower of Acsension, who is alive and dead, who's goal is to either kill us or spare us.

Yeah that's good enough...

Trust me, I'm a BIG fan of Matthew Reilly books. I read all of his books except Ice Station, Area 7 and Hover Car Racer. While I was brainstorming for ideas what to put for this easteregg/secret, I thought: "Hey why not just chuck in something from the last book I read and put it in here" and here you go.

Its really interesting to see what the community can make out of 5 signs and linked it to all sorts of stuff with crazy theories X)

I know I'm kind of late, I just saw this now. This is my thoughts:

Now let me explain. Firstly, I actually think this is in regards to something we are yet to learn, similar with old Rorodc or whatever it's called. But out of the people we know, this fits pretty well.

Marius was a wise old warlock, meaning he both studied, and fought. Of the kids he trained Mael is the most important, so they could go here.

Bob has the greatest fame in wynncraft.

CoW was a warlord, the commanded one of the strongest armies in history, the army of the corrupted

Amadel wanted power and glory, but it was too much for him. The glory was a lie.

Maybe the third one is Ragnar. In the new starting area a NPC mentions a powerful person named Ragnar

 

The 5 may refer to the dwarves, as I recall seeing 5 dwarven statues in one of their cities, a mage, an archer, a warrior, an assassin, and one with a weird axe-knife

And just to stick in my opinion, I have no idea who the first is, but the second, I believe, is Bob, the third, Bak'al, the fourth, Amadel, and the fifth is, well, you. The player.

I know this seems a bit weird, but hear me out, okay?

The First is Grian/Ragni. He was the Old King [noblest], he taught the builders & GMs [scholar] and he was a warrior according to "Ragni's Spear" [soldier].

The Second is Salted/Detlas. He is the director of WC [leader] and since he's the god of WC and also the owner, [none shall achieve greater fame than he].

The Third is Bob. As he has mastered all four classes, it makes sense that he's the [greatest warlord known to history]. However it could be Ragnar (but we haven't seen the main storyline so I can't judge yet).

The Fourth sounds like a Villager, because he/she is an [obsessor] (of emeralds?).

The Fifth, quite obviously, is the player. I mean come on guys, not only do you face the [greatest test] by defeating Bob or doing more than 80 quests, in the book the quotes came from, the fifth is the protagonist.
