Game Mechanic Problem

    There is a game mechanic issue in Wynncraft. The health system is very complex in Wynncrat. Vanilla minecraft supplies you with 10 hearts, or "20 health" whereas in Wynncraft a total of 15 or 20 hearts can add up to health in the thousands, unfortunately lava and drowning damage bypass that by taking multiple hearts at a time making Lava more dangerous than most difficult mobs. For example lets say a mob hits you for a total of 400 damage, that may take 1 or 2 hearts, but fire damage can take 5 or 6 hearts within seconds. I think the damage taken by suffocation and fire should be nerfed to further advance the enjoyment of Wynncraft.

    I think it makes sense. I mean, if you imagine what is actually happening to your character, getting hit by a mob should hurt less than if you are on fire. Falling in lava is much much worse than getting hit by something, right? I think the new damage seems more realistic.

    I would much rather get a burned thigh than get hit by the full strength of a mob 20 levels higher than a person who can stomp a being that can literally corrupt worlds.

    This is a video game, you cant use real world examples to define the mechanics, And second of all i agree with Zachary Long. What Zach is trying to say is the the game reads fire damage as vanilla damage, which would be okay if we were playing vanilla, however we arent. In Vanilla you have 10 hearts, each heart worth 2 health, In wynncraft you could have 20 hearts all of which could be 250 health each, so tell me why does it make sense to lose 1000 health ( or 5 hearts ) in the same amount of time you lose 4 health.

    This was on purpose, environmental damage increase so you aren't immune to fire and lava

    Hopefuly this explains in better detail....


    So the update was suppossed to buff environmental damage, and they did what they said they would. BUT Lava and Fire take Pure Hearts, not health so even if you level very high, fire can tick you down very quickly. The Potion Merchants need to sell Fire Res potions to better balance thtis.

    That's what I was trying to explain. The lava / drowning needs to take health and not Pure Hearts.

    It doesn't, and Salted is the only one who thinks this makes even the slightest bit of sense lol

    I would actually try and do some research here. Does it really always take 1, 2 or 3 hearts or does it in fact depend on health?
    I'd, for one, like to know.
