Whats The ******* Point?!

TELL ME Whats the point of reporting ******* glitches if even after a patch they are still not fixed. Not even ingame ones but like ones on the map or the wynncraft.com/stats are glitched too BUT WHATS THE POINT OF US REPORTING THOSE GLITCHES ok i understand staff didint see the report or something but after 4 days of a glitch beeing closed its still not fixed like accesory merchants not showing up on map.wynncraft.com and other things like srsly...

 

It takes more than a few seconds or even a few days to fix bugs. Staff have lives too.

They will fix things eventually if you report them, and Gavel can be a better place <3

 

So we can fix them...

The lives of the developers do not revolve around Minecraft, even if yours seems to.

 

Robin i understand but removing a marker from wynncrafts map doesnt take a couple of days its just a armour merchant that doesnt exist on wynn but its there on the map those simple things take about 5 or max 10 mins to fix not a couple of days

 

I bet you're that kind of person who loses patience when you ask an employe to find something for you but the employe tells you it's not in storage

why this little glitch matters and you don't fix things now while the servers are SHUTTING DOWN?

 

Because they have a backlog of things to fix.

 

The problem is, that this is not the only bug/request to do. It's more likely for a developer to tackle the important bugs and doing the small, easy stuff at the end. Also I don't think that a misplaced marker on the map affects you as much as, for example, something where you actually get stuck ingame.
Cut them some slack and don't tell the content team what to do in which order.

 

Servers are going to vanilla, crashing, lagging out, etc. You think a marker on the map is priority?

 

They have done an outstanding job with gavel its expected to have bugs like any major update, and bugs aren't always easy to get rid of so just have patience and faith in them. Also it's the holidays everyone should be able to do what they feel comes first.

I can tell you that Jumla, Tantibus, Selvut, and I have been the most working GMs/developers this latest week. I know that the first 5 days of Gavel, especially looking at the Quest Issue Tracker, were just 10 hours each day working on fixing these issues.
If those three worked just as much, or even more, as I did then I think we all need atleast some rest.

 

I'd just like to say Thank You for working so hard for us. Bugs were to be expected with any major update like this, and, unlike some other people, I and a lot others are patient enough to wait for you to fix the bugs you're working so hard to fix. Don't overdo yourselves, it is the holidays after all!

That's why we are drawing it back a bit now for New Year, although we are still working. It would be fun to give some sort of behind the scenes. Maybe Grian should make a video called "Gavel: Behind the cameras" ;D
