Closed: Clocks And Door Of Time Theory

Ok, before I begin, I want to give credit where it is due. Some of the ideas for this thread come from from various sources, including @MarkedForDeath and @AlexisPlay

Ok, so Alexis made a thread (https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/the-mystery-of-the-clock.98591/) about various clocks around Gavel. He believes he has found all except 4 of them. Looking at his logic, it makes sense that only 4 are left. Marked even made a little map of the clock locations to help him find a pattern.

But that's his business. Why am I talking about it here? Well because while he is looking for the clocks, no one knows what the clocks are for. That is there Marked comes in again. He made a little post about the changes made to Wynn. One of them I found very interesting.

The door of time has opened.


Whats behind the door? According to the people on his thread, just coal blocks. Like what happens any time you supposed to get teleported. However, walking into the coal blocks does not teleport you anywhere.

Clocks keep time. Door of time has opened. I feel like there is a link. No one has found all clocks, and no one has been teleported through the door. I feel like perhaps if you had all clocks, would you go somewhere?

Also, on the topic of sand, the hourglasses in Selchar and Detlas have run out of sand...

What do you guys think about this? Does that seem like a reasonable assertion?

I found a clock while doing a quest (wasn't part of the quest obviously lol) but it definitely got me wondering! This seems like a pretty legit theory to me.

Well the clocks are Untradable so this seems like you could go back/forward in time :D

Might be unrelated, but the hourglasses in Selchar (and Detlas too I assume) have finished all their sand.

 

The door opened after gavel got released. This means the awnser to the mystery must lay in gavel. The clock theory is a possible solution, but I think it's part of a waaay bigger thing then that.

 

WHAT ?! NO MORE SAND IN THE TOP PART OF THE HOURGLASS ?!

 

Wait... What? I did not notice that. Do you mean that there is no sand in the top part, or no sand at all?

 

Top part. The sand in the top part has finished.
