Craftmas Chaos Quest Glitch?

Hai there, in the quest 'Craftmas Chaos', in the 6th stage, when the user is supposed to go into a portal, they fall a couple hundred blocks and die, making further progression of the quest impossible. I believe the reason this happens is because of the fact that users now take fall damage. Im a mage and I've attempted trying to teleport before hitting the ground, but I die every time. Is this my fault or an error on the server?

 

I think that they forgot to take previous quest into account when they added fall damage.

 

I find this rather odd, as I completed Craftmas Chaos without any problems. The areas where you "Fall" into a portal where covered over with water, nullifying fall damage.

 

That is the drop where you go to meet Santa, Im talking about being teleported in mid air and fall to your death, after weakening the summoner by destroying that crystal.

 

It was the same case here, as I managed to fall into a pool of water to be teleported. Maybe there was a bug on your server?

 

Yea, I didn't see water either but as an archer I can negate all fall damage if I time an escape well.

Its possible, I shall attempt again. To clarify, you have successfully completed the full quest in its entirety?

 

I've completed the whole quest, and I've had no problems with it. The only real problem I had was a server restarting as I finished the "Kill Santa and bring back 1 [Ragged Santa Cloth]" where I had to kill Santa again, but nothing related to the actual quest itself.
