How I'm Guessing Powders Will Work.

Duh, speculation.


I know long, long ago there was a powder teaser, but that was swept away in the great wipe, and who knows, maybe it could have been changed


Weapons

Powders will add elemental damage to a weapon based on a percentage, don't know what I mean? Here's an example of a green/ earth powder


Green powder 1

Turns 10% of a weapon's damage into earth damage


Example spear

100-100 Neutral damage

(No elemental damage)


Adding the green/ earth powder however……


Example spear

100-100 Neutral damage

10-10 Earth damage


The slots will probably allow for something like this…..



Example spear

100-100 Neutral damage

10-10 Earth damage

10-10 Fire damage


(2/3) slots


The Different tiers of powders will probably have higher percentages, tier 2 adding 20% based on the neutral damage, tier 3 adding 30%, tier 4 adding 40%, tier 5 adding 50%, and tier 6 adding 60%


And if a weapon already has elemental damage, if you add green powder to an Earth weapon, it’ll probably just do more Earth damage…..



Armor


Probably this:

Tier 1: +10 Elemental defense

Tier 2: +20 Elemental defense

Tier 3: +30 Elemental defense

Tier 4: +40 Elemental defense

Tier 5: +50 Elemental defense

Tier 6: +60 Elemental defense

 

Make it normal-theme friendly maybe? ;)?

Ok, I changed it to a different color, I don't why Xenforo's color system is shit (I always try to press "none" but it doesn't do anything) I hope this appeals to both themes

 

I wonder if the old powders will work for this new powder system.

 

It might be slightly less amounts as far as defense goes, for the sake of balance.
Ex. 10, 15, 20, etc..
Other than that, this might be how powders work :3
