    In the new Gavel update i realized that my assassin was completely useless and mage was wayyyy better.

    I feel they're perfectly balanced. Perhaps in the new update you're more suited towards mage. But I think in any assassin build you're going to want to use intelligence. My thunder-water assassin literally only uses up 5 mana on multihit and with my mana regen gear that comes back almost instantly.

    Now that assassin takes skill, how am I supposed to play that class?

    they where changed in the first place to balance them. What you're asking is for the change to be reverted so they become unbalanced again.

    Everyone saying assassin is trash now, yet I barely notice a difference?...

    multihit is kinda bad, but just you smoke bomb in its place..

    Assassin is actually balanced now. You have to rely on strategy and your build if you want to prevail instead of spamming multihit with mana steal and life steal. Mage is much more balanced now, however it can be extremely powerful with a very good build, likewise with any class. (I think)

    Mage is literally the same as it was before, more or less.
    Its just that its heal spell is actually useful-er now.

    Assassin was too OP beforehand.. They made the right call. I agree with @Tantibus , the classes are now equally balanced...

    Lol mage op? Died to 2nd floor boss of ToA anyways( lv 75). Mage is good for heal. You know how we need 2 meteors to kill anything, and 2 meteors will take half our mana bar(with 80 int). Assassins need a small mana buff (-1 mana on multihit) but classes are balanced rn.

    Ok guys, ok.. Let me break it down for you.
    Assassin is actually still decent. It's just that you have NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE DOING!
    *ahem* Allow me to explain.

    While assassin did infact get nerfed a bit, it still is usable. As far as mana steal/regen goes, try using a different dagger.
    I personally use 2-3 daggers for different purposes. Reaper of Soul has decent mana steal and is able to get your mana back up fast. Chakram boosts your agility and movement speed by a decent amount, along with increasing thunder damage.
    As far as spells go, Assassin's spells use Thunder, Air, Water, and Earth. (Spin Attack uses Thunder, Multihit Thunder and Water, Smoke Bomb Air and Earth)

    What does this mean you ask? Spin Attack uses the element of Thunder. Basically, using weapons and armor that will buff your thunder attack and using spin attack will result in greater damage (especially if the mob is weak to it..) The same applies to every other spell.
    Depending on your weapon, your spells and normal attacks do additional elemental damage. This is probably one of the most important things to keep in mind due to the fact that mobs can be RESISTANT to certain elemental damage.

    In general, every class got changed, for better or for worse is up to you to decide.
    tl;dr: Learn the new system and stop complaining that classes seem like they're terrible now. They aren't.

    Fun thing, mages still can't solo bosses. Before, mage were the only class that can't solo bosses.

    I really don't mind the nerfs or buffs but some spells of the assasin class seems wacked out.

    Spin attack used to stun enemies and keep them in place but now the mobs would freak out and run around with crazy speed.

    Currently smoke bomb can barely kill a mob.

    Is this a nerf or a glitch?

    They need to buff multi hit. It's supposed to be the damaging ability yet smoke bomb deals 3 times its damage
    The rest is fine
