Can't See Mob/npc Names...

I used to be able to see mob/npc names before Gavel and the texture pack came out, but now all I see is the mob/npc I have asked around and no one else gets this and they can see health on the mobs/npcs.

Anyone know a fix to this issue?

And also my friend just said he on 1.8 with optifine and he sees them..

 

1.8.9 is the latest version.

 

Just try like 1.8.9 and see if you can see names with that version.

 

1.8.9 works but my fps goes down from 60(capped) to 30-40.... I geuss I'll have to get used to it...

 

Install optifine, Go into video settings -> Animations -> Terrain Animated: Off. Bob's Mythic uses Terrain Animations to make the effects on it. That and 20000 candles tend to lag your game if they're constantly flickering..
