SPOILER Colored Ancient Guardian Code?

I seriously have no idea. I got like 4 different wools from killing the Ancient Guardians, and the only way I can actually do more than 0 damage is by using the warrior's war scream spell in The Shadow of the Beast quest. I am seriously confused as to why only four of them drop wool and why I have to use war scream to damage them at all. I punched the numbers in using the buttons and it didn't work. Seriously, some of these quests are just completely BS. I thought gavel was "highly tested" and "most if not all bugs were completely resolved" only to find out that it's barely even playable with the amount of lag with 30 people on, not to mention half the quests are broken and I can't use half of my items because they either didn't convert or completely bugged out on their own. /rant But seriously what's the code because this quest is impossible for me.

 

The same thing happened to me. I just kept trying the code in different orders and it eventually worked. I'm pretty sure its supposed to be that only 4 drop wool.
