At least it wasn't a Medusa, those things are gamebreakers.

 

I was falling down my hellevator when a medusa was standing in a cave branching off.




Those things suck so bad

the wiki is your best friend.
choose a role, after completing hardmode, there is 4 paths that you can get, mage, ranged, melee, and summoner. I would say to start as melee, since they have the highest defense, but you can also do mage or ranged, BUT STAY AWAY FROM SUMMONER, for now.
also, make an arena for each boss that you are going to kill

 

MLG Dorito Lazer Beam OP! Also, I have done some hardcore expert speedruns for fun. My record is going from copper shortsword to full vortex in 7hrs straight of playing!

There's Warrior, Ranger, Mage, Assassin (Rogue), Summoner, and Trapper. (spikyballs)

 

assassin doesnt exists, and trapper would be throwing damage, wich doesnt continue from hardmode

 

or you have no life :3

 

Assassin exists. it's throwing.

Trapper is spiky balls and other traps like spikes

 

...I bought it yesterday...got a wooden yo yo...friend who has endgame epinvited me to play with him and my other friend who is a hacker.....Terraria is fun
