Thanks. I really love the new elements system I just wasn't sure what a lot of the numbers meant. This guide was very helpful!

Elements have counters to one another, for example a Earth/Thunder build will not be as effective as a Earth/Fire Build Because:
If you have Earth armour, it generally decreases thunder defence and damage, while increasing earth's defence and damage. Whereas Earth doesn't usually cancel out fire.

With 2 elements cancelling each other out, that build becomes less effective.
Armour with high elemental resistance/weakness can be found in the Hive ;)

Yet, we have seen a build posted (by Salted, I believe?) that had 35skill points in every skill, and is said to be very effective. I'm glad that I'm not the only who is trying to understand all of this, and make sense out of it. This new system gives us a whole new world of options to work with.

[@Cubae, you do know that those colored words are hard to read on a light background, even though it makes a lot of sense the way that you did it? I'm so glad that highlighting text is a thing. LOL]

That build made by salted works because it uses the final endgame gear. The most powerful gear in the game requires 33 points in every skill. Personally I'd rather have less powerful gear, with a more specialized build.
