Can Someone Explain Elemental Damage?

The update didn't really help me much. So, I focused on leveling my defense. But my bow does 40-50 earth damage, and my earth is only at 10 points. So what does that mean? And what if I were to reset all my points and focus on earth, so that my earth now is at 50 points, what would it mean then? Not really sure how they work together, an explanation would be great, thanks.

 

If your Earth (Strength) is at 10, your bow would do 50-60 base Earth damage. Hopefully you can tell how that works. If you focus on Earth with your 50 points, it'd do 90-100 base Earth damage. Earth also just plain increases your overall damage, as it is Strength.

 

Some mobs are weak to certain elements, so if you have lots of the element they are weak to, you kill them faster. Where as if they are strong to an element, it will take you longer to kill them with it

 

Strength is tied with Earth.
Your base damage increases, and your Earth damage increases.

 

Ah, so it's just an additive. I wasn't sure if it was some kind of multiplier that gets divided or something, but knowing it's just addition makes things tons easier to understand. Thanks :)

 

Spoiler: Explanation

Basically, go to wynncraft official website, go to the classes tab, and then click on the class you want to find the spell for. Click the spell. The symbol before the %#(DMG) the spell does, is the type of elemental damage the spell does. Just go in game and you can see what each symbol is.
