    This is a PSA for anyone who can't see any mob or NPC nametags. The issue is most likely that you are running minecraft 1.8.1 instead of 1.8.9. To fix this, go to "edit profile" in the launcher and select 1.8.9 from the version drop-down menu. Then, simply hit "save profile" and launch the game. I hope that anyone who is experiencing this very annoying bug finds this useful. Enjoy Gavel!
