SPOILER I Need Help On The Maidens Tower Quest!

Hi! So recently I was doing "The Maiden's Tower" quest, and I'm at the point where I'm in the catacombs and at this color puzzle. There are four colored crosses with pressure plates in the middle. I also see little rooms like blue, red, green, and yellow. In those rooms are math problems... I've figured this out so far:
Blue = 1 (3-2)
Red = 3 (2+1)
Green = 4 (7-3)
Yellow = 2 (6-4)

Now, how do these go along with the pressure plates? Please help, I've been stuck on this for awhile.
