Gavel Complaints

So
I first start off and I go to Identify my spear, and I can't.
The characteristics are:
Scythe
Legendary
Lvl min 70
I can't Identify my set of Champion Armor as well. :/
Can someone tell me what's going on, I talked to other players and they said it worked fine.
Extra info: I got my armor and weapons from Wynn

What exactly do you mean by "can't identify" because the identifier GUI has changed.

 

Never mind I figured it out. I was dropping the EMERALDS instead of the item, like in Wynn
