Expectation And Disappointment

I might be overly hyped for this update, everything is great, I respect all the hard work those 100+ people put into the update.
Everything stops at a place for me, the lag. How am I supposed to enjoy this awesome content when I just can't have better connections? It takes about 1-3 minutes for me catch up with the lobby and another kick if I wanted to join the game.

Just a question: Are the staffs aware of the huge latency on the connection and are they ever gonna fix it?

Well then I hope the problem is resolved as soon as possible.

 

Just for you, my friend, we'll make a server that you're automatically diverted to, and it'll have the worst lag in all the world.

Please, we know. We've been dealing with lag for years.
It doesn't help that we use some of the most advanced potatoes to power the server, but they are pretty advanced potatoes, so deal with it.

 

I can't even log on a server without being kicked

 

One solution from me is that, make us download the resource pack when we join to the server at the hub. So then our clients won't be under too much pressure when joining a world.

 

You newbies have no right to complain about lag, back in my day we had two fucking servers, and they ran like shit.

 

Did you accept the resource pack? Because you get kicked if you don't.

 

Yes I did, and together with a lot of lag to load it. I'm then needed to load the world while falling through the void, and the game kicks you after 30 seconds of idling or something.

 

Yes I did accept resource pack. Then my minecraft went into 'Not Responding' mode and then I got kicked

 

I joined the server since April/May 2014, and the lag wasn't even that horrible.
