Ik other people have made these threads before, but I just want to say thank you. After seeing all these different spoilers and teasers, and slowly piecing together all of be stuff in gavel, it looks amazing, and years of work is totally justified. I mean, think of what it's like to A: create things that were never intended for a game, B: create new freaking mobs, C: rewrite every single aspect of the game and make it 10x more complicated! Like, that would take forever!

And if gavel has even half of the stuff shown in trailers, it is BY FAR worth the wait. No other server has anything remotely like Wynn, and it definitely deserves a larger fan base. And yes, this has all been said before, but something that really makes me happy is that the devs LISTEN to the community about suggestions and changes, instead of just pushing out crappy content to keep players happy and not fixing bugs (cough mineplex cough) Like, even guilds, albeit a little broken are super fun, and everybody participates in them!

Also, if you have to break a couple small rules in order to keep this amazing server going, I say go for it! Sure, I'm a little annoyed about double xp, but it really doesn't matter. Would you rather some players have an advantage, or that there's a server to have an advantage on?

Next, I want to apologize. I'm sorry for all those idiots out there constantly griping about the release date. Like, it's just a few more days, cmon! Regardless, I'm sorry that we as a community (I being no exception) put so much stress on the devs to push out gavel. I'm sorry that people kept pushing over and over, and the constant jokes about it. Sure it wasn't on time, but does it matter? Just go chill, play another game for a bit, and chat on the forums. I myself only log in occasionally, and mainly use the forums.

And yes, it did take a long time. But look at all the stuff that was accomplished! I mean, cinematics? Better quests, content, puzzles, boss fights, builds, 3D items, mobs, map area, lore, it's insane! Personally I'm really happy about the element system, I've never seen anything like it before, and this will make the server even more amazing than it already is. I can't wait. (Can't get on till tomorrow I cri)

All in all, thank you for an amazing server, an amazing update, and putting up with us for so long.

EULA isn't actually enforced at all, just something to get publicity(IIRC from McMasterx).

Apart from that its so true what you said, everyone is complaining about the large wait but nobody has stopped and thought about how much effort have the content team put on the update. Love you GMs, devs, mods and builders, atless we have some members to be proud of (and also many community members dont rage at me xD)

 

I couldn't have said it better my self! I agree with what your saying like that the whole community has pushed and stressed out the Wynncraft content team to release Gavel. But all has to come to an end, Gavel is finally here! (For me they are updating right now and I'm so hyped!)

 

Ah, there's plenty of threads with points to them, you just gotta look hard ;)
