I Found A New Mob, Everyone!

I was wandering around the ocean borders to see if anything strange was there now that we're at the edge of Gavel's release and this is what I find.

 

I found one yesterday

 

This might be a rare one, may have been found before

 

Wait, isn't this the mob from Beneath the Depths? I feel like I've seen this long before the border was updated.

 

There seems to have been lots of new mobs recently. Queen slimes have spawned in the jungle, and there are dead icecutters in nesaac.

 

Also, I'm fairly certain this wasn't there before.

Hmm, I do not recognize it, maybe its a Mob from gavel that wandered off into Wynn?
Or maybe its a really rare mob?
Or its just no one goes there.

 

And am I the only one thinking these giant stone spines have any significance?

 

On the subject of new mobs, are Light Phantoms new and is there a rat cave with a rat boss at the end?

 

I'm not sure if it's new but if it is it might be because the wynn map is getting updated too.

Acer said there hadn't been a map push in a long time and that was why they hadn't fixed the entrance into the GM room, so I'm not sure.

 

The mob is from the city in beneath the depths probably spawned on top of the water by accident

 

Also, would this not be the perfect spot for an easteregg?

 

They've been around for a while. They're the Jungle and Snowy counterparts of the Pigman Overlord and the (now removed) 'The Undead' mobs.

 

For the NPC it's the swam merchant from donator city, Grian already spoke of him ^^

 

I've seen this undead drowned sailor before. They spawn a lot on this small island behind the huge tree island.

 

The Undead Drowned Sailor is from Beneath the Depths Quest. Theres a cave with tons in them a couple of hundred blocks away from selchar

Grian said there would be no undead mobs in Gavel because we're moving out of that "corrupted theme."
