Guys I don't know when Gavel comes out. I know it comes out today but when exactly? please if you know than please write it and if you can also convert it to GMT but if you can't just write as you know

If it happened at 8-11pm EST, wouldn't it be Winter in GMT?

And if it happened at 10-11pm EST, they'd shut down the servers for a few hours right? So it comes out in Winter?

If they manage to kill all the bugs in time, they will release it today. Let's just hope all goes well. Don't give the Content Team a hard time either if they don't release it by then. But in return, they should stop making promises about releasing updates if they're not going to live up to them.

 

Hopefully today - as far as I know, it should be releasing today. If stuff goes wrong, it could be tomorrow.

Oh, for heaven's sake! The only thing that the admins should do when they post a release date or time is say what they actually mean; ETA, Estimated Time of Arrival. Calm down, everyone. Nub, I agree with your first two sentences, however, on your third one, if you try to show me one place where they said "we promise", I'll bet you dollars to donuts that you won't find any. Fair point, I've been tense this last week due to final marking period tests and what's been happening on wynncraft. I will not go into detail though. I just hope that the Gavel update goes smoothly.

 

Technically, Winter starts tomorrow. So if they dont finish it today they would miss their deadline.

It's more like autumn here still, with temperatures above 10 degrees celcius.

 

Man, all tests are stressful, especially finals and entrance tests. I've worked with other teachers to get them to help our students calm down so that they could study and test effectively, I remember what it was like. I hope that you're OK, and that you did well.

The update will have quirks and bugs that will have to be worked out, later. Any project that massive, even if there was a team of paid, full time employees working on it, is going to have bugs, but I know what you mean.

Who cares? The time of completion and release is an estimate, no promises were made. The deadlines were more for setting a goal for the staff and a time for us to keep them inspired.
