Media Abysso Galoshes

• So i'm at the quest "Lost Soles" and i gave Ferndor the boots (witch i had enchanted and stuff) but when i got the boots back they were just normal :/ Is this a bug or are you supposed to lose the emeralds you used on them. (Probably not)

 

Probably a bug, report it to the bug tracker. Anyway don't worry about this and finish the quest. You'll understand why.

 

The boots you got back were actually better and stronger boots the original one you gave was around level 65 Or something now they're level 67 Or something.
So it's not a bug, you just traded in boots for a better one.

Well, I think that you gave the boots to him, that he won't give back the original because he's an NPC. Lesson learnt, don't so anything with your Abysso Galoshes

 

The boots were a quest item as such you knew you would lost them at some point, you're not meant to ID or enchant the boots. The boots most people would use are Bad Wolf, also as a note you won't lose the Sodeto Boots

Personally I think Bad Wolf is better than both.

 

Agreed. Bab Wolf has a max xp bonus of 42% with a decent defense making it really good for grinding and fighting.

 

The quest is designed to delete your opd ones, and give you back new ones. The program isn't smart enough.

 

You lose the boots anyway so meh.

 

I wrote this before finishing the quest, but i ike the new boots much better :P
