Starting Over (event?)

Ok so with the coming gavel province, a lot of things will be added. Including the main storyline, which I think starts in Wynn (correct me if I'm wrong)

So I think that starting from lvl 1 is the best way to experience the province. Anyone else agree? I was thinking that everyone who is going to start a entirely new character and run from 1 - 100 could say so here, and work together to find out the best leveling patterns with the inclusion of Gavel.

Good idea? Please tell.

 

Yeah, it's even been suggested by Salted that you start from the very beginning, due to how different things'll be.

Well, Salted and Grian heavily suggested you start over to get the full experience, and I'm definitely starting a new Ninja, so yeah.

 

well it is certainly and idea but you will be unable to experience the new land until level 40. though you will get to see the new item system at the very beginning

 

I am going to start over as a Knight. Once Gavel is release, I guess I'll share some strategies.
EDIT: What if when Gavel is released, a lot of people start over and get into a giant party of 16 people.

yep, exactly what I plan to do with Knight! I wanted to see what I can do with a different class, so this will be quite fun.

 

Hm, I think you should change the tag from spoiler to something else.
The fact that levels are going to be reset isn't a spoiler, it's a tip that everyone needs to know.

Reseting your levels isn't required, its optional

 

Remember though, one of the things they didn't finish was the main storyline. the main reasons why the still suggested to start from lvl 1 was that they revised the King's Recruit quest and the lower lvl'd weapons are less complicated than the higher ones.

 

Maybe we could start a guild for all the people that start all over agian, so we can easily talk to eachother and offer help.

 

I'm starting over with a Mage.

 

I might start over with my hunter, no way am i losing a year and a half of slow progress on my mage

 

might use my lvl 8 dark mage or reset it :P

I'm probably gonna start over with Assassin by myself, and Mage with a friend.

 

I will probably start a mage from lvl 1, but Im a solo player, and I will do like 8 hours in a row to levelup faster (and also because I will join 1 week after everyone else)

 

I wont be restarting at the start, i want to experience it first hand and get right into the theory crafting, though i will make an ninja or darkmage

 

My current load out is probably going to be an absolute train wreck after the update hits. I might with a new class in an extra save slot (just to see how it feels) but that might be too much of a hassle, honestly. I just wanna go see the new places in gavel. :p
