I'm So Lost

I decided that it would be a good time to get back into wynncraft. The last time I played it, I had a blast and it absorbed my life. That was almost two years ago and now I have no idea what's happening and I'm lost. What's the best gear? Can I use my old emeralds/gear? Where is my armor? WHAT HAPPENED!?!?!?!

 

About the emeralds. If you hover your mouse over them in your inventory and they don´t clearly state their value, then they are old and cannot be used.

 

The server underwent a huge update - 1.12. Most people here can direct you to where you need to go, or you can visit http://wynncraft.com/map to look for yourself. (That is, visit it when the main site is back up)

As for your currency, if you're in Minecraft 1.7 you can trade old EM for new EB and old EB for new LE at the normal bank merchants and you'll be fine. However, I heard somewhere that there might be a merchant for 1.8 players to convert old EM to new EB and old EB into new LE.

As for your armor, please explain - what happened to it?

 

Ok so...

There was a new update called 1.12 where mobs were remade, and builds were improved. The following there was a halloween quest and after a new update called wynnter which added in a NEW hard quest in a new biome, there was more quests and two biomes, the ice canyon and dernal jungle which is no way realated to dern. Its also added a christmas quest. Then when 1.8 came out you could do an over lay detail on you skin, and then armour skins were made so armour looks 100 times better, then relics were added, secret structures made that contain powders or rare items that cannot be traded, Then we had a terrible fate, there was a forum wipe, it is now called 9/7, and here we are now and a few weeks away from Gavel ( you should know that) and Guilds were made, you can claim land , defend land and donate, but it breaks alot. Your old emeralds can be converted to new ones at selchar. Also if your stuck we have a /kill account that will get you un-stuck.

You can trade them for new emeralds at the bank in selchar. There's a merchant called the "Emerald convertor"

 

Classes didn't reset? As far as I know, Wynn hasn't even made a reset for all players' classes

 

A major update called 1.12 changed, EVERYTHING, as in, EVERYTHING

+ Revamp of the map
+ New extensions to Troms and Nesaak
+ Armor skins (you still have your defense, it's just that the mc armor skin was turned into a custom made one)
+ GAVEL IS COMING

 

They did reset in 1.12 and people lost their ranks then the Vet rank was given to people who lost their ranks, and the reset on 1.12 wasnt optional, all the player's classes was reset without the player having to optionally do it.

 

I've been here before 1.12, and by reset what do you mean? All my classes stayed their levels and I never lost my rank and got my Vet tag. I've been playing for 1 year and 5 months now but never have had any of my stuff or classes reset

 

Strange, cause I've been told after the 1.12 update every class was reset.

 

I played before 1.12, i still have a level 40 archer.

 

The emerald converter makes more money than an Item Buyer
