Underwater Quest Glitch...?

So, I decided to finish all of my low level quests (Because I got lazy and never did :P), and I decided to do the quest Underwater first. In my quest book, it said "Talk to Sayrr about the Breathing Cap." I then went to Sayrr, talked to him, got him the food and water, and came back. But when I did come back, I tried to talk to him, but it didn't work. I left clicked and right clicked, ALOT. (I think I may have broke my mouse, oops.) Still, nothing happened.

Help please.

i found that pointing where a normal villager would be worked

 

F4 + B

This command will show you hit boxes of several things (such as items, mobs, blocks, even pots) this should help you figure out where to click on him. If this doesn't help, as @SeanThomas2 said, clicking where a normal villager is may help
