    Hi, I am Marked, and today I will take you to some of Wynn's more obscure locations.

    Note: most location names are unofficial. Commentary goes above the relevant picture, not below.

    Maltic Wine Cellar

    X=-560
    Y=48
    Z=-1920

    Rosey16 told me to look for a hidden wine cellar in Maltic and so I did. I appreciated not having to go into the jungle with enemies 15 levels higher than me and framerate-killing trees.

    [IMG]

    Just like in all houses in Maltic, the interior is very cozy, but that's not what we're here for. Pressing the wooden button on the left...

    [IMG]

    ... opens an entrance to the cellar!

    [IMG]

    It looks pretty neat.

    [IMG]

    Llevigar Pinot. It's probably very expensive, considering it has to be brought all the way from Gavel.

    [IMG]

    Nemract Wiskey, coming from a place a lot closer to Maltic. I bet it's also good, considering how many citizens of Nemract drink.

    [IMG]

    BONUS!

    Another cellar can be found in Maltic. It's not as interesting.

    [IMG]

    Rymek Bazaar

    X=1300
    Y=31
    Z=-1275

    This location is probably the least obscure that I've written a file about so far, but Rymek's bazaar sees very few visitors despite the highest concentration of merchants in all of Wynn. Rymek is very isolated, has no bank, no scroll shop and no other mayor services so most people come here for the quests involved and never come back, which is a shame, cause it's a nice place.

    But what makes it even worse is that this one fantastic bazaar has awful prices. Carrying around mushrooms, potatoes, feathers, apples, eggs and junk isn't worth it with these rates. Staff members, take notes. Give us 1:1 rates please.

    Anyways, passive aggresive complaining aside, let's check out the bazaar!

    [IMG]

    Elibod sells eggs. The sign behind him says 1 dozen costs 27 LE and 2 dozen cost 40 LE. Luckily, the prices are actually lower, but without bulk discount.

    [IMG]

    Bigar sells water bottles. I asked him about the sponges on display but they were not for sale. I asked him about the water stream in the back and he said he likes to take shower breaks while working.

    [IMG]

    Pacap is supposed to sell cacti, but has left to find some.

    [IMG]

    Dolg claims to sell fine herbs. He only has mushrooms though.

    [IMG]

    Allmvik decided to sell apples because he liked the alliteration.

    [IMG]

    Spit is nowhere to be found, but hasn't left a sign like Pacap has. I could really use some clothes that fit.

    [IMG]

    Efilim imports potatoes.

    [IMG]

    Bevis buys junk, including coyote fangs, bat ears, rotten flesh and bone meal.

    [IMG]

    Lusuco Feathers is an unusual shop. It is unlikely the shop owner is called Lusuco, considering it doesn't say 'Lusuco's Feathers' and Lusuco is a town. The feathers could originate from Lusuco, but that place doesn't have any chickens and is severely run-down. Lusuco might have had a chicken farm a long time ago, but it seems unlikely. This shop is a mystery.

    [IMG]

    A nice view from inside the bazaar.

    [IMG]

    Insanity Ranch

    X=-500
    Y=102
    Z=-1300

    I'm supposed to make a file about the little wood cabin not so far fom here, but I'd hit the image limit, so I'm keeping that for the next thread.

    On the ravines overlooking the time valley an abandoned ranch can be found.

    [IMG]

    This ranch houses no farmers, chickens, pigs, sheep or cows, only insane horses.

    [IMG]

    I decided to investigate. Something had to turn these horses insane, possibly some shady magic in a damp cellar. I checked the barn out.

    [IMG]

    Lots of hay bales, but no clues as to what happened to these horses.

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Now here is something interesting I found... maybe even disturbing. Only horses can be found, but it hasn't always been this way.

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    There is a small barn behind the big barn, but it's just as boring.

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Now it's time to theorize. I think the horses have killed the farmer(s) and all the other animals after going insane. Whether only the horses or all animals went insane can't be known, considering horses are fairly strong after all, and could easily overtake the farm. I couldn't really find any clues as to what made the horses go insane, but I do have a theory. This ranch is on the ravine overlooking the time valley. We know some strange powers are at work at the time valley, and this ranch could've been exposed to them and made the horses go on a killing frenzy.

    100th post btw!

    Take a look at the caves and cliffs by Brehmingler. Just keep fallowing the boarder after the ruins/camp area. It may not have much, but it's completely hidden on the map, so it may be worth a look at! (Coords X:600 Z:-2500)

    This is the secret area in the cellar. Might have been the first to find it idk? Sorry for the poor video quality. I took it like 5 months ago.

    Ah, yes. The cellar of the cellar. I remember it well. There was a group of us, who were taken on a tour of hidden places by a higher level player. And this was the last stop on our tour. The very last stop. It took us a while to find that second button, but it was well worth the effort. That place has a unique feeling in Wynn. So many Easter eggs have been removed. I'm glad that at least this is still around.

    You should do one on the "Little Wood Cabin" (Coords- X: -630 Y: 100 Z: -1101)

    It's probably one of the nicest areas in Wynn! Look at it!

    Near the broken bridge on the path connecting the black road and the savannah/Almuj is a small cave that leads to an abandoned diamond mine, home to a tier IV loot chest. You may want to check it out. Approximate coordinates are 732, -1856.

    May I suggest changing your name from "Marked's Files of Obscure Locations" to "Marked's Logs of Obscure Locations"? People might think you are copying "Mular's Secret Files".

    Files, logs, what's the difference? It's obviously inspired by Mular's files.
