The Flaw In Ancient Nemract

So I was reading the lore for the eighteenth billionth time when I noticed something a little peculiar...

The lore states that ancient nemract was destroyed around 100 years ago~ and the villagers only arrived 10 years ago, so why are the "Ancient Nemract Citizens" Zombie Villagers, and why are they wearing full golden armour? Did everyone in Ancient Nemract waltz around in GOLDEN CLOTHING? This adds to my theory that Ancient Nemract was incredibly rich! So why are the zombies zombie villagers? It may be a way to tell apart the dead citizens and the monsters, but that can be done with armour and heads. It may have been a lazy GM, but it's prob... Okay it was probably a lazy GM (no offense GM you gave me something to theorize on so thanks) I BELIEVE THAT THE THE VILLAGER ZOMBIES ARE THE BODIES OF VILLAGERS WHO TRIED TO REBUILD ANCIENT NEMRACT BUT FAILED, SO TECHNICALLY THEY WERE CITIZENS FOR A SHORT WHILE!

 

The villagers arrived more than 10 years ago, you need to go rewatch the Lore. and re-evaluate everything :/

 

I think one of the Gavel teasers said that they arrived 10 years ago, but that goes against all of the lore that we know already, so I would just discount it.

 

If you read the Storyline you will see that it states that the villagers arrived in wynn 10 years ago, I doubt Grian would upload an official trailer for Gavel with incorrect info on his OWN game.

 

You are assuming, of course, that the video refers to "now", are you not?

 

Well, that video is set when Gavel is opening their gates, assuming that Grian is not lying in his post "Just Around The Corner" that is in December.

Those quotation marks scare me, I'm hoping it comes a few days before my winter break begins!

 

A couple debunks here.
1. Golden armor is just meant to be a Tier 2 armor, so the mobs are fitting that level range. Gold, most likely, is not as valuable of a commodity as it is on Earth.
2. Uh... Where did you get 10 years ago from? I don't see that in the Lore.

 

1. Gold may not be as valuble, but ALL of the citizens of the city wearing clothing made of gold? + armour tiers are based off the protection, not the value.
2. Where are you reading the lore? If you check the wiki there is a peice of lore that was posted before the wipe by Grian which explains the background of Wynn and when the Villagers came, which is 10 years from present day.

Do remember that Wynncraft is still technically always under development, so our GMs can fiddle around with numbers as they wish at the expense of the players' sanity. Yay.

 

They have fiddled to much for me!!! Everything needs an answer!!! The GM's have filled my head with lies!!!!

I understand all of this, yet I still try to give everything an explanation. It makes the game fun and exciting! But yes, this theorizing is making me lose my sanity ever so slowly...

 

Community needs more posts like these. Interesting, and ripe for discussions.

 

I can confirm, most GMs never think this deeply about their mobs. Selvut for example, is a completely other side of the coin. This guy really gives reason for the mobs.

 

Not really, the gold armor is just to show how strong they are, because lvl 20-30 armor is gold too (and villagers can't possibly be strong enough to wear armor made of one of the most heavy metals on Earth).

 

Thanks for clearing that up, l always found that 10 year hicup hard to work with... But that's okay because it doesn't mess up the theory to much!
