Anyone Looking Forward To Minecraft 1.9 Update?

Anyone looking forward to dual wielding, minimaps, shields, etc.

Personally the Enchanted Golden Apple getting nerfed is kinda sad.

 

I'm more looking at the new dungeons, enchantments, and Elytra.

 

I love everything about 1.9 XD Lets face it, notch apples needed a nerf. No matter how rich you are, when it comes to a melee fight, no one should be invincible

 

I'm personally against 1.9 for the following reasons:

- Elytra makes Feather Falling redundant.
- Shields look like folded cardboard boxes.
- Notch apple changes. (Not necessarily nerfed, just harder to come by.) Check here, here, and here.
- The new end areas are not connected to the main end island.
- Fight a dragon for a lingering potion? No thanks.
- Hacked-Client users will pay off on Sharpness V diamond hoes.
- Any sort of Kill-Aura/Mob-Aura/Faster-Harming hacks will be harder to identify due to varying attack speeds.
- Dragon head looks awkward and clunky when worn.
- Can't attack with off-hand items. Why allow us to hold a sword there if we can't even use it?
- Infinite levitation caused by mass amounts of homing Shulker projectiles.
- Insert something to fuss about here.
- Spectral arrows are in-game implementations of PlayerESP.
- Purpur sounds absolutely ridiculous. Dafuq Mojang/Microsoft.
- Why beetroot was ever created in MC:PE in the first place is beyond me.

I'm fully aware of the other things in 1.9 such as textures per durability, other arrow effects, end stone bricks, new sound events, different particles system, etc. Frankly, these aren't enough to convince me to use 1.9 instead of 1.8. This is just my opinion. If you agree good on you. If you don't good on you too.

 

To be honest, everyone likes updates! But I'm thinking that if Minecraft updates too much, mods will just become rubbish. Also there might be too much items/blocks.
By the way, the way that mobs are almost impossible to kill in 1.9 Snapshots, is kinda annoying. The first world I had, I spawned, made myself some stone weapons and tools. I found a cave, inside it was a Zombie Spawner. I was on a two block ledge so they couldn't get me but I quit with about 15+ zombies around me and about 4 broken stone swords..
But in all seriousness, 1.9 is really good.

Getting nerfed is nothing to me, because most of the time you'll probably not have enough gold to craft it anyway.
If it was removed, I would cry for 13 days, 13 hours, 13 minutes, and 13.13 seconds

 

I played Minecraft since Seecret Fridays and am playing it every day for more than 3 hours (sometimes a lot more). For me, 1.7.10 is the last vanilla update. 1.8.x has been changed way too drastically for me to be able to think of it as it was the same game. I mean, the damage dealing texture, world render, people with worse PCs have to close MC and reopen it evera few hours because it eats too much memory with time, a lot of other weird stuff ... And 1.9? No, thank you. 1.9 is what I call the Cheap Mods Update. Honestly, there may be like 3 things that I would like to see added. The other stuff fells way too modded for me to play it on either SSP or SMP.
