Marked's Files Of Obscure Locations 2

Hi, I am Marked, and today I will take you to some of Wynn's more obscure locations.

Note: most location names are unofficial. Commentary goes above the relevant picture, not below.

Cannibal's Lair

Halonoobs_com advised me to check out the arch infront of Dernel manor. I was only level 53 so it was difficult for me to find the right spot, and I even got killed once. But it was all worth it for this hidden gem.



The small cave looks very comfy.



The cannibal has a nice view on the Dernel mansion.

Dwarven Village

Note: I called this dwarven village because it's the first thing I thought of. Dwarves aren't canon in Wynn as far as I know.

I am invited inside by an imposing stone arch infront of the village entrance.



Reporting of this location was difficult because of the abundance of dangers awaiting inside. I was way more powerful but they were a nuisance nonetheless.



The first tent. On the outside it looks pretty big...



... but on the inside you'll see it's even bigger!



I'd live here if there weren't zombies outside.




I continue exploring the cave.




Another tent.



Someone here's been writing. Wish I knew who was writing and what he was writing.



I continue, and find another tent.



This tent's interior is very tiny but does contain 3 beds.



Getting hit from behind made me shake my camera.



I got a better shot after killing a few dozen mobs. It appears to be some kind of water shrine.



The last tent. Not very exciting.

Forsaken Treasury

NubUnderscore directed me to an abandoned treasury hidden deep within the Dernel jungle.



It appears like a generic cave at first.



The water pool is cute but there's something much more interesting further on.



A great bridge crossing a great lava pool. The bridge is partly broken.



The 'Abandoned Treasury' as NubUnderscore coined it or as I call it, The 'Forsaken Treasury'.



Up close we can see the riches exposed here: blocks of gold and emerald. More interesting however, is that there seems to be some kind of door. It can't be opened. The emerald blocks in the wall and the door form a face, almost scaring visitors off. This might be a vault leading to even greater riches. I have no tools at my disposal to breach the door, so we might never find out what's behind.



A loot II chest spawns on the chiseled stone brick.



The face in the wall somehow reminds me of Ultra Greed in the Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth expansion. Not just because of the relation to money but also because it kinda looks like him. But this treasury has been built before Afterbirth was released, so it's a mere coincidence. A funny one nonetheless.

 

Ok, who stole his shoes?

you do get a nice pair of shoes form the quest in darnel mansion.

 

I think the Cannibal needs them more than the player, who gets shoes like every day.

Hmm, Dwarves in tall tents with tall undead outside? Maybe something else. But nice find nonetheless.

 

Are you called Donald Trump 16 because there are 15 other Donald Trumps or because of the number of penises Donald Trump has?

 

I don't think that the number of penises changes how many of them there are ;/

 

Well, doing "Donald Trump #2016" was too many letters, same with "Donald Trump #16," so I had to settle for "Donald Trump 16."

Finally got around to finishing the 'Dwarven Village'. Please do excuse my sloth.
