Rare Isn't Rare

Never take terms like "rare" 100% seriously in RPGs (or games) in general. Overtime, the market becomes more saturated with items, gold/emerald's value gets lowers (because almost everyone has an LE as opposed to when Wynncraft started and people didn't own anything rare.)
Also, in a game like Terraria I remember reading things on the wiki like;
"Weapon X is very rare, enemy Y only has a 2% chance of dropping it!" But, of course after grinding in that area for long enough the enemy can be caught and the player feels either very special or lucky for finding an item they would have probably found anyway,with enough time and commitment. In a way, it is a type/method of game design. (Wynncraft isn't really like this, some items (like the pumpkin helmet) are truly rare.)

Anyway, I'm 100% sure the system is balanced. Believe me, a lot of thought and testing goes into things like items, just look at the GM google doc and rules!

Yeah, Rare isn't that Rare, I agree. Soo many frosted leggings, culex, squid daggers, and blights sold to item buyers, that they'd probably have to lower the prices to make more inventory space.

 

The truth is I don't have OVER 9,000!!!!!!!! Rares I have like 100 :(
