Build My Final Apply For Build Team

I'm gonna be honest here, and i'm sorry for my rudeness. But eh,

Don't even try to join.

Sorry again for my rudeness, thats just how i am, I am kind-hearted but like everyone, we have our moments. Still tho, the build team requires
alot more effort then this.

Nah I don't feel Grain can build correctly with detail. He's more of a lazy detailer. Also how he builds makes it a bit harder for layout action. If anyone, I extremely suggest Jamziboy! Take a look at his older videos! They're golden! Rich in detailing, depth, atmosphere, style, and more. Also he teaches you to build smoothly so it is appealing to the eyes. Most medieval builders struggle with that.

 

Good idea, fairly good execution, not so good presentation.
What I would suggest doing is adding detail. (from what I could see) the outside of the house is good, whereas the inside could use some work. The surrounding landscape could also some love, try terraforming a bit more. Add in some detail to the land, make a hill, put the HOUSE on a hill! Be creative. Another thing you could improve on you could is the trees, If you really want to show your skill make custom trees.

That is the suggestions on how to improve, now I wont expect you to be able to do them all perfectly, building very well takes a lot of skill, I am not an amazing builder. But that doesn't mean I dont know how to do it well (if that made any sense)

Anyway If this is indeed for the build team as an application you are supposed to send it in a PM or there might be a application form (I'll edit to clarify later) and the build itself i not to the very high standards of the Wynncraft build team.

Dude take a tour around the server, visit Almuj, The Great Bridge, and The Door of Time/go to the Gavel Door(they have similar design) after that ask yourself "am I this good"

Hofnestly, I don't think you're ready, here are my reasons.

1, you lack decoration, don't be afraid to touch up your builds, try to build until you are completely satisfied,
2, Follow the theme, wynncraft is always rustic-looking. So if you are trying to build a nether tower, you probably won't get cut in, Also, wynncraft is very strict when it comes to applying for GM,BUILDER, or getting picked for mod, this build right here is small, lacks detail, and does not follow the correct theme, they aren't going to ask you to build that in the time valley for example, it would look totally ugly to be put into wynn.
Im going to show you my build so far,[/IMG]
A base of 2 small mountains lunged together, making it look as though you are going through a tunnel by passing it, see, this little extra touches and additions make it better, and what would you rather have, 2 bland rustic trees on either side of the mountain? Or the trees lunged at the pathway and stuck together, and don't forget other additions! not just the leaves and the trunk.



Right here I added a nice "walked on pathway" to the house, with grass and blocks that look good together, so for here I want you to experiment with the blocks you use, make a small blocky house and see if those blocks would look good for your main structure. The house has leaves, cobwebs, and much more, rustic houses don't have to be pattern made, as you can see I mixed the blocks up on both sides and added different patterns with the stone (etc).

I hope you take this into consideration.

Well, peoples minds (since we are on wynncraft, an awesome builded server) are all like "if someone is posting a build, its going to be extraordinary!" So when they see something like this, they give the builder a sore look.

 

The "idea" is cool. But that build is rather bad.

 

Sorry.. but I don't think your gonna get in the build team with those builds... I had building skills like those a couple months ago until I found Grian's build tutorials which turned me into a god... XD

 

Don't be upset. I started out just like you with extremely shitty houses, but as I kept trying to improve my skills, I discovered new methods of decoration and building depth. I got rejected 3 times, but I persevered. And here I am today, in the Wynn Build Team! :D

Take some time. Don't rush-Wynn isn't going to die 2-3 years from now. Grian is a god at building tutorials, and I recommend you take a look.

You know, that wasn't too bad of a build.
Certainly not a good enough build to consider joining the Wynncraft Build Team, but still a decent build.
Keep watching tutorials and honing your skills.
I think you have potential. :D

 

If this was a reddit forum you would be getting death threats, but in all honesty, do you really think this is wynncraft worthy? Don't want to be too harsh this is not reddit...
