Hating On Forums

the thing about "look what I found" threads is that in almost all cases it has been found and posted before.
now don't get me wrong, it's great that the community keeps exploring the map and it's ok to get a thread about the same things every once in a while. but when you see the same threads popping up with only a couple of days between them it does get kind of annoying. this is more noticeable after 9/7 as most of the content threads got wiped and didn't fully recover yet so the forum's other threads are more visible and that makes it feel like there's more of them when in relation to before 9/7 there are probably the same amount but they don't get drowned in the constant stream of content.

Speaking of which, it was lagging in Wynncraft, and as many of you may know, IgbarVonSquid made a video about a secret basement in Nesaak. I took some screenshots of the room. But I don't really think I should post it, after I read your post, not that it's your fault... If you would like, I can post a screenshot.

So don't hate, appreciate.
Some people on the forums post stuff that maybe you don't like. In fact, you might be cringing at what I'm writing right now. I bet you that you're about to click away from this thread. But besides the point, hating doesn't do anything but cause other people to hate you even more, and can lead BOTH of the people that were arguing, into some deep trouble.
Am I trying to show hate to the people that hate on other people?
No, I'm just trying to show why being negative towards people doesn't help. It simply creates a hating relationship between the people, who argue over something stupid.
What happens if people hate on your posts, or disagree with your opinion?
Simply try to ignore them. Like I said, it's their opinion. They can hate on anything that they want, but you aren't going to be able to change it. You can't make the Item Buyer give you a billion emeralds, just like you can't change people's minds.
I don't expect you to read everything, but if you do manage to read all the way down here, great!
Remember ONE thing, posting something negative to show how you think about something, isn't going to help. Like every single parent says, "If you don't anything nice to say, don't say it!" I hope you all learned something from reading this thread., Have a nice day!

Also another tip: If somebody says something bad to you, and starts a nasty conversation, always TRY to talk politely. They will someday stop talking, if you talk politely. Don't be like me, and gets mad over the stupidest things. It's not a nice thing to do! That's why, we should all change, it makes a difference!

I wouldn't say you got any hate from that thread, but there were a lot of people that were vocal about their lack of caring.

I like you! You have a good moral and you are making the forums better. Also, could you try to make a few less threads unless they are specifically all unrelated. I love your work though!

Here's the thing: there will be a point in someone's life where they realize that they can do whatever they want with their life.

If they're 18 or older (legal adult) and they're told this by someone, they will just tell them, "I can say whatever the fuck I want. It's my life, my body, my way of how I want to say things. I don't care if I don't have anything nice to say, it's my fucking life and not yours to control. So fuck off and go 'control' someone else with that saying."

You mentioned that the best way to deal with a hater was silence. This could be bad. If someone is cyber bullying someone, you need to get in there and shut it down, while maintaining order. However, you did edit the post which is good. As for me, I try to handle things appropriately, although, some things can make me snap, which I suppose is natural.

Okay, I'm not denying that there's a lot of hate going around. Especially on the forums. BUT, try to not get hate confused with someone just having a different opinion than you. The whole point of a forum is for people to come together and share their viewpoints. As soon as post you a thread, you make yourself open to pretty much anything. Love, hate, memes, whatever. And while some of that stuff is indeed punishable, simply having a conflicting opinion or a negative comment shouldn't be automatically labeled as hate.
