This is Ozio, a experiment created and studied by a scientific friend of mine, Ariodo.
Ozio seems to be a type of Dead Miner from the nearby Jungle.
However, this specimen has a few interesting things to note.
For one, he may be the only blind enemy in all of the Wynn province.
Yet, he is still capable of attacking and throwing his hoppers with lethal force and speed as seen below!
Ozio is also one of the only corrupted that has had physical augmentation to his body, as seen by his lack of eyes, someone corrupted start with.
However, this blindness has also lead to a breakthrough with Theory E!
Theory E2
I believe that Ozio is the proof required to show that the corrupted are drawn to the emeralds!
Even when i used every other tactic to avoid detection, he almost instantly knew i was there and stuck hard and fast!
This is also shown by the lack of emerald in Ozio's Chamber, with the exception of what i brought in.
I believe with enough time, patience, and study, me and Ariodo may be able to teach Ozio to be drawn to another source of energy or power, which would stop Ozio from going after people!
In Time, it could stop the sieges entirely!
However, there is 1 snag in this theory.
If a stronger force overrides our teaching, it could be reversed.
I am afraid that little to no proof exists of a controlling force in the corruption.
If there is one, i pray it never comes for us.
It would be the strongest threat we would ever face.

Neat theory you got there! I don't want to think if corrupted is confirmed as canon to attack you due to you have emerald or something that can affract them.
