So recently I made myself a new skin, and I am satisfied with it, since the old one was pretty bland when it came to the hair and stuff... But whenever I equip ANY piece of armour my old skin returns, is there a way to stop this or?

Well it seems that when I do not have all the armour slots covered my new skin is here, but the moment I put on a piece of armour to fill all the slots I am straight back.... I applied the skin around the time of that thanksgiving ball

The armor skin works by changing the outer layer of your skin.
When you wear a certain combination of armor pieces it loads their skin onto your outer layer.
To save time (I guess) it remembers your different combinations with your skin. If you will try a set you never wore after the armor skins were introduced you will see your new skin.
The system takes time to update itself to the new skin so for now try to wear different armor pieces (purified helmet instead of blue mask).
