Has There Always Been A Pirate Island Northeast Of The Ice Islands?

    I was exploring around the Ice Islands and I got turned around and ended up on a large group of islands at about (1300, -3500). There was a little fort with a "Retired Buccaneer" (?) and a boat merchant and a bunch of vicious coconuts. Lots of palm trees too.

    Is this new, or has it been around for a while, or what? Server kind of restarted before I found it so I think it might be some update, but I'm really not sure.

    oh, that makes sense, I couldn't find it on the map or wiki or anything so I assumed it was super new
