Player Increase From Gavel?

As we all know, the Gavel update will give Wynn a lot of attention from the minecraft community and this will boost are player count by a lot! This has been seen as a good thing and a bad thing in the Wynn community, but what do you think? I personally can't wait to meet all the new players and make some new friends!

 

It will lag so badly no one will be able to play it for a week.

 

There'll obviously be an increase in player numbers. How large that increase is and how long it lasts before Jumla spills coffee all over the servers again is unknown.

And are we talking about new players only or are we talking about new players and old players returning?

I'm betting the server population will go back to how it was a couple months ago with like 3-6k players on at a time

 

Yeah but when they realise they need to be level 40+...

 

Hopefully some youtubers do some play throughs through 1-40 to keep the players playing on the server and not just for Gavel.

 

Well back in the day when the server was booming and super popular we would get 2,000+ on big updates such as the quest updates, or the featuring YouTubers updates.

Suggestion: Whatever time they say Gavel will come out, wait an extra two hours.

You know, you actually mode me think about what would happen to the server. I mean, 3k players is awesome and all, but let's just think how many times the server would crash. And then, a day later, everyone would try again, and the server would crash again, and again AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!!
