Gavel Class

is there gonna be a new class in gavel or did I misread that?

 

Yes, there will be a new class. We just don't know what it is.

Those are just the skill point things. They are not classes (although Salted refers to them as "subclasses").

 

I don't think so. In Grian's Q&A he said he wouldnt be releasing any new classes YET. He will in the future though.

 

There was a photo on twitter of the 'wolverine' class (and a statue of it in ToA) however most people think that it was just teasing the weapon reskins and it's been said several times gavel won't have any new classes.

The 'wolverine' looking person on twitter was supposed to be a teaser of custom weapons with the resource pack. Grian said himself that there will not be a new class in the Gavel update, but he did foreshadow that there may be one after gavel.
