Gavel Release Date

No, this is not a "When is Gavel" thread. Don't yell at me.

I'm just wondering why they haven't told us the release date yet. Tons of people want to know, including me. Are they trying to make us mad, do they have a legit reason, or are they just stringing us along?

 

It's been said time and again, they are working on it. Enough said.

 

I don't know if you ever worked ona big project but if you did you'd know it's almost impossible giving a finish date. Things always tend to pop up so you need more time.

 

You give things release dates when it's done.

Gavel is not done, therefore it cannot have a release date. In the past they've given estimated release dates like "summer" or "fall" but every time they missed it, many people would get vocal and throw a hissy fit about why their precious gavel that they so rightfully deserve isn't done yet. I think at this point they don't even want to guess a date, let alone set a date to release. I'd personally wager it release in 2016, but I don't have nearly enough information to make an educated guess.

Oh well. Better put away the champagne for another year I guess...
