I made this forest house. Please leave constructive criticism. Any tips? Here are the screen shots: 2015-10-16_14.36.20.png 2015-10-16_14.36.45.png 2015-10-16_14.37.07.png 2015-10-16_14.37.14.png 2015-10-16_14.37.43.png 2015-10-16_14.45.07.png

It's not bad, but it lacks some detail and depth. I highly recommend Grian's "Five B's of Building" video:

You can also check out some of his other videos for tips/ideas.

A tip for the screenshots, try to take them with smooth lighting on maximum, to make them look nicer.

    More landscaping :P
Put more trees and hills, flowers, rocks, boulders, vines, streams, ECT.
Also, texture the ground with gravel & cobblestone paths, and podzol (which looks like fallen leaves). Secondly, if you use spruce trees, make it snowy and make the house inside feel "homey" and "protected".

You still got a LOT to learn.
But if you keep trying, you'll become a good builder once.

Not too bad, although here are my tips:
    1. Roof variations
    2. Wall variations (they're a bit bland right now)
    3. Improve interior. Add a bed, a fireplace, and maybe some other things?
    4. Use custom trees and landscaping. Also, if you want voxel sniper and plugins easy, there is a free server hosting service called server.pro, which gives you free hourly servers that you can also renew. :D

If anybody needs a simple test server with VoxelSniper and World_Edit on it, I can try and make a test world on the server I'm co-admin on. I can't promise it'll work, but I'll try.
