Gavel Release Half Exposed!

As the community has been wondering for ages, When the **** is Gavel coming out? Well, I have a good theory.

In a recent trailer, We saw an error with Attack speeds. Getting me yet? No?

Attack speeds are added in Minecraft 1.9. Aah, Now you're having that Ah-ha! moment.

To back this up, you can also texture items in vanilla! As seen in another teaser, the weapons had models.
So most likely, They're creating the Gavel content in 1.9. So most likely, Gavel will be released within a few weeks of 1.9. I say a few weeks because the team will most likely have to test to make sure everything works in official 1.9.

ALL ABOARD THE 1.9 HYPE TRAIN!!! CHOO CHOO!!!

 

Problem... Multiple problems... Wynncraft hasn't even really updated to 1.8 yet... Also they have plugins that can change attack speeds. and the models can be made in 1.8.
Also that "Recent" trailer that had the attack speed error.... I would like to say in Aug. Maybe even late July.

 

99.9999% percent sure that they are not doing anything in 1.9 since the snapshots are experimental and untrustworthy. All the new stuff is being done with texture packs and plugins.

 

Dang it, I had this all planned out. I forgot to add a part saying something like "But there's a few problems. One is plugins. Plugins wont be updated for some time when it comes out. Another is that Wynn isn't official 1.8 yet." Along the lines of that. Realize, though, This is just a theory. I'm not saying this is 100% true. Again, This is just a theory.

Yes, I'm aware of resource packs. Warlords for Hypixel is an excellent example. But wouldn't just ROCK to see Wynn become 1.9?

 

No not really.... If they delayed Gavel for 1.9 then.... They will have a decrease in players most likely. And people may actually start verbally attacking the staff. And if they try to work on making Wynncraft to 1.9... They are going to possibly have to recode wynncraft which is no easy task. Also I am pretty sure that they would have to totally change wynncraft because of some of the features in 1.9. They may not even include some stuff from 1.9.

 

Random items are used for textures. It was shown in a vid when grian changed to the texture pack

 

Huge flaw right here... Gavel has been 100% confirmed to not use 1.9, but will require 1.8. Sorry, you're wrong.

Two things here: Wynn is getting an official resource pack. No, it wouldn't be that nice to see 1.9 wynn.

 

I kinda want to see the elytra in Wynn.

 

Not gonna bother to read what others said, Wynn isn't even at 1.8 yet, not even close to 1.9. The "vanilla" textures you saw were a resource pack. Goodnight. -

this shouldn't really affect wynn, as attack speeds are attributes. which can be modified with a single command. i'm sure jumla can figure it out

 

i just saw a post like this yesterday. we can make attack speeds without vanilla 1.9. we'll just use plugins.

 

Even I they did I would still play and why complain? They ARE tring their hardest

Nope. Nuh uh. It's gonna happen waaaayy before 1.9, trust me.

 

to sum up what everyone has said before me gavel will not come with the update of 1.9 Wynncraft is not even running 1.8 right now. The attack speeds are coming with a plugin not 1.9. There is going to be a custom resource pack coming out when Gavel comes out.

 

Grian hopes to get Gavel done before the end of the year. Done. Nobody knows the release date, so PLEASE stop making these useless threads. There is no release date.

I will just point out that attack speeds are fully possible in both 1.7 and 1.8.

 

Theorys are subject to scrutiny, just because its a theory doesn't mean we can't tear it the fuck apart
