[rp] To The Edge Of Wynn - Open

This is my first rp, please give feedback.


(this is based off of my lore called To The Edge Of Wynn)

300 years after Dern was destroyed


A villager named Ganor was on his way to Hundar, and stopped on the way at Detlas to see his old friend, Andi.

(these names arent the exact ones from the original, they are just there until i have a chance to look at the old thread)

Little did they know, Corruption was rebuilding, and Ganor wasn't prepared.

300 years after the Eye was killed, they didn't know that Corruption and Darkness were rebuilding to destroy Wynn.

Hundar - After Selchar was destroyed in a fire, the survivors buried the citizens below the town and rebuilt the town, and renamed it Hundar, which in Villager meant "Reform" - Destroyed!

Fargan - A settlement in Gavel that is currently in the works, being built to model Ternaves and is the main stop of any adventurer on the way to Wynn.

Rugin - After Ancient Nemract fell, very few people were able to find refuge underground in a secret maze that had Wither Skeletons. These caves were sealed after the Zombie Dungeon was discovered, but once the war of corruption faded, the villagers came out of the hiding to build Rugin nearby Mount Wynn.

Bagri - After the Time Door opened, the Time Valley began to act wierder than it did before. Some said that time seemed to go backward, claiming that they were sent on a quest, finished it, went to the Time Valley, and the quest was never done. The few people left of WynnExcavation decided to make a site there, and take all time for themselves. The excavators made a settlement called Barbeg, and it stayed there for 2 years until Ragni took it over and renamed it Bagri. Ragni's King made sure that there was a patrol at the city in case there was any WynnExcavators left.

Derset - The dead soul of Commander Ba'al went to destroy Almuj. He brought the dead ghosts of the bandits with him, and possessed every villager body in Almuj. The adventurers were forced into slavery and were killed if they tried to escape. Detlas' Governor did everything he could to save Almuj, but in the end, they had to destroy it. Many people died the day of Almuj's fate, but Ba'al got his wish. He then never found out about the city of Derset, a refuge for all the survivors of the destruction of Almuj. It turned into a city, and then became the biggest city in all of Wynn, having not only many of Detlas' people but also many of Almuj's citizens.

Destroyed towns:

Nesaak - The power of the Tower of Ascension corrupted the city and destroyed it.

Ternaves - A race of Zombie horses were created, and destroyed the city.

Troms - It is unclear what happened to Troms. After losing all communication with Troms, the Wynn News sent a reporter to see what happened, but the reporter never came back. It is assumed it had to do with the Temple of the Legends, since all communication with adventurers grinding there was lost.

You hear rumors of an attack coming on Detlas, coming straight from what was once the Nether Portal.

Do you:

> Investigate more
> Go straight to Detlas to learn more

Hungar was still being built the day of the attack, no one was ready. Two hundred monsters poured into the underground city, what will you do?

Do you:

> Fight for your life
> Run deeper into the tunnels where it is rumored that the darkest monsters lay

Accepted.

Destroying Nesaak was the best day of your life, because unworthy adventurers that disturbed you came from there. You heard that your monsters are going to Detlas for an unknown reason.

> Ask your highest commanders about the rumors
> Join them for an unknown reason

Hungar was still being built the day of the attack, no one was ready. Two hundred monsters poured into the underground city, what will you do?

The problem with this rp its just... kinda boring. It really has nothing going for it.

 

I go straight to Detlas to ask around about the incoming onslaught.

 

It will. It starts out boring. It's based off of one of my lores that got lost in 9/7.

The monsters are inhaled into the cave. You kill many monsters, but there's just so many.

As you arrive in Detlas, you notice that it looks a lot more protected than usual, with adventurers lined up around the city. It looks like they are preparing for war.

You ask a scared looking banker about the situation.

"The Roots are awakening! The Corrupter himself sent us a warning note that he's opening the Roots once more. They are going to try and corrupt all of Wynn, and it doesn't sound like a practical joke!"

> Go back to Bagri to buy some time to prepare
> Join in on protecting Detlas

 

I stay in Detlas to help protect the city.

 

You wait for the attack for 10 days. You begin to doubt the attack was real, but you stay anyway.

Meanwhile...

There's just too many monsters to hold on. You make a run farther into the cave, and find yourself at an ancient shrine, that was once a long time ago before the villagers opened the way to Gavek, a "relic".

I tell Detlas' Governer that I will head to the Roots of Curruption to face the truth behind this attack, to see what the Corrupter is planning.
