Mana Steal

Is this a super rare idd?
I play archer and I got mana steal on my weapon and it is amazing. Is it as good as I think it is?

Do some weapons have this naturally or all weapons have a chance for it?

 

Only a few weapons may have Mana steal, no chance, just default. All the ID's are this way, except Xp bonus, loot bonus, and ids alike have a random bonus(10%) but are allowed to be any number around the chance they have on the item guide.(30% is the average bonus, it can either go up 5% or down 5%)

EDIT: Better example, the maelstrom has a 25% xp bonus, it may have a 20%, 21%,32%, or a 26% bonus in reality, it has no set number, but it has a set guideline. As you see, the maelstrom has a Mana steal of 1, that number is actually set and static.

 

Only a few specified items can get Mana Steal. And yeah, it's pretty gosh darn OP if you're archer/assassin.

 

Some items can have mana steal and the others cannot. I mean, it'd just be too OP if all items would would have mana steal.

 

The most you can have is Mana steal 1?
there is no Mana Steal 2 or more?

 

Mana Steal 1 is already OP as it is (in short: No, there's no way to obtain more than 1 Mana Steal)

True, but there is also this thing called a Ban Hammer. I know, I'm just a kill joy.

 

ill try to explain simply: each weapon has been specificed the types of IDs it can and how many. only xp loot and spell damage's precents can change and the are the only ones with a min and max level of the ID (not including champion armor's health regen which can change between pieces) hopefully i helped :)

When you kill mobs, you gain mana.

Every time you hit something (Player, mob... no blocks tho) with a weapon which has the mana-steal"enchantment" you will gain 1 mana.
Asassins have acess to the multi-hit attack, and each hit will trigger the mana-steal id resulting in a great gain of mana.

(Same for archers, >Arrow Storm<)

since when? The same could be said for +tier attack speed.

i have IDed a 2/2 mana steal jester necklace many times. I also believe I have a 2/2 mana steal Scythe.
Take a look at Recharge (rare helmet) as well...
