Its sad that Gavel is for level 40

 

not really, level 40 is really easy to get to, and 40 and up needs alot more quest and grinding spots, so I'm am extremely happy that its 40 and up

 

I spend most of my time with @McFuzzyChipmunk anyway so I can give him information on whatever I find. I don't think I'm on for long enough to be a direct contributor, but I'll be sure to pester him.

 

You seem to forget that the wiki is a community project like this too, and it needs the help of dedicated Wynncrafters to update and refine the pages. A lot of work will go into the new pages that have to be created, and all help is welcome. I will soon post a guide on how to make a wiki page for a quest and add the dialoge easily, and maybe guides about other pages will follow so we can get as many helpers as possible.
With that said, having a Gavel handbook with condensed information about Gavel will be a big help in quickly getting the information we need, and to be able to start some pages before Gavel's release. Keep this project going!

 

I thank you so muhc for the support! I have 3 main reasons for having this: A cool little piece of writing, a project to inspire the Wynncraftians and now I have another focus of helping the wiki getting a nice Gavel book for the wiki contrbutors to eat. BTW, I sthere any way to join the wiki community and become one of the contstant writers? I would like to work on filling up some sections as it is like "Too little butter spread over too much toast". I would also make the wiki more excitiing to read.

Yes there is! Just create an account and start editing! Any help is welcome, as long as it actually improves the pages.

Yeah I agree with you, who will check the handbok ore than the wiki, it's easier to check, it has a lot of other things on it, easier to edit wrong info and it has a search function. So I think that the wiki is way superior

 

Those posts were to help me acheive what I have. I am glad with all the support I have now and I am ready for Gavel. I aim to be Wynncraft's Newsreporter, Gathering info on all the latest event and finds! My inspirtation for this was @Mular and a few others.

As I replied earlier one of my purposes is to assist the wiki. The Gavel handbook will be like something for them to eat and taste and then replicate into their own dish which is the wiki. Yay analogies.

This is brilliant! In no way do I see myself as a decent contributor, simply because I don't fully understand how to do all the formatting and templates yet. Having this could vastly improve the wiki!

 

I have a little bit of vague info I gathered from the stream. It will probably not be released in october and it's most likely going to be released in November or before New Years. They also recommend for the level 75, or veterans persay to reset their classes once the Gavel update comes out so they can fully immerse themselves with it. I will not be revealing specific details as I don't want to ruin it for people who don't want it spoiled.

 

Wynn uses wynnic, Gavel uses a different language AFAIK (seen in one of the teasers). And Gavel is not quite "just around the corner". The end of fall is the expected release date, and you know how that went last time.

 

I used "Around the corner" just to make my righting more cheerful and engaging. I have never actaully seen the Gavelian script. Could you link it to me.

It's not confirmed if this really is the language spoken in Gavel, but it is present in the province. I believe it's ancient Roman or Greek, as I heard from some people.
