So, I haven't been very active on the server for some time now. I think it has been almost 2-3 months since I have leveled up to 63+ and so far, I kinda been bored with all the grinding and such on the server. It is somewhat tedious to do and takes alot of time, I dont know if people feel the same way. So for those 2-3 months I have been waiting for the Gavel launch since there will be additional quests and mobs to fight. My question to you all, are some of you waiting it off till Gavel starts or have you continued with grinding?

It doesn't have to be. Grinding is not a you have to grind 100 levels without quets! (overexagerration) Grinding is a thing that helps players level up when there are not many other things to do. Gridning should be a choice and Gavel is going to make gridning a choice with many new things to do.

Gridning is there to be filler

So, about... 8 months ago, I reached level 75 on my archer and didn't really have any intention of starting another class. So I got on my horse and took a ride to real life for a while until and month ago when I started my Assassin class and made it my goal to reach level 75 before gavel came out. I got to level 45 in about 2 days, then to 55 in another 2. After that it took a whole week to get from 55 to 68 and then a day to get from 68 to 75 (after an appearance from ToL). That's just how the levelling works, it gets really, really frustrating when there are no quests to do and all you can do it grind, but it has to be done. If it bothers you to the point where you're feeling stressed and feel like it's taking forever, just wit until Gavel and there should be plenty to do that'll make level 55 - 68 less grind-y.

I disagree. With the best RPG, you should only need to grind once or twice - if at all.

A good MMORPG makes you grind without realising your grinding. As you explore, you destroy enemies, to find new places and see different things. By killing the enemies as you adventure, you absentmindedly grind without grinding. It can be difficult to make at when you're designing a map, but when it's done good, it's done really good.

    Game design, man.

Correct. This here requires a massive world though.
