I wouldn't call those spam. No offense, but your threads are closer to the definition of spam then those threads are.

 

Why would you say that? My threads are aimed to work on projects I am going to share with the community. I am doing stuff for the community and I always have. It just seems that people like to complain. I have been planning and working on this. Just because I cannot present something straight away does not mean that I am doing spam. All I am asking is for people to assist me, not do it for me.

 

I have done alot of content for the Handbook so far and I have organised everything into disticnt chapters. The Lore and History chapter is empty though so I ask that you guys help me provide content in that area

 

I personally don't like to complain, but your threads, aimed to help the community or not, are getting spammy. I mean every time I wake up and get on here I see a new one or your threads.

 

For all those complaining that this is too early, surely it's quicker to have a team assembled and ready to go as soon as Gavel is out than to wait for it then lose a weeks worth of time because we were arranging things?

I'll be happy to gather info once Gavel is out, since I'll be working on the wiki anyway.
You might want to give people specific roles in gathering info, like one person on quests, one on lore, one for each new area ect.
It should in theory gather the info quicker.

 

make a gavel guide, when we have a gavel. (sorry im raging on you its just your the guy that has made the most gavel posts i've seen so far and besides you it really gets on my nurves)

 

Thankyou, that was exactly what I was wanting to hear! I am just getting my basic stuff ready with all the teasers to save us time lost when Gavel comes out. When I get a nice amount in the group of people who are going to be helping me we can power away! I was thinking of slitting up roles as well.

Since you work with the wiki team, do we have permission to use information to help us get to our goal faster?

A thread that may be asking a question or may be asking for a photo that was lost in 9/7. I am just trying to acheive the best possible product I can with my 2 projects. Sorry about that. All of my threads have been aimed at questions in the past or my 2 projects. That was when I started creating the projects and you should know that you need a foundation to begin. I am not making stupid, annoying, spammy threads. I am making threads that will soon become actual tools for the public to view and use. I need information for these sorts of things but sometimes it is out of reach and that is when the public comes in and helps but they don't Instead they complain and tell me I am being lazy when I am doing work bhind the scenes.

All of my threads except for a few have been aimed at my projects. These community projects take time to begin so I am starting now while I have information to provide a steady foundation we can work upon. I have to start the project now or it will be lost amongst the excitement of Gavel.

To both you, look at the google doc. That is all I am working on now. I am not going to be posting any more threads unless it is a question or a request I have. If you can see the google doc is getting ready and is getting better with all the people like @Submonsterine who are helping me.

 

UPDATE:
For those who cannot fully access the doc yet here is the update on stuff that has happened so far:

• I have done for now with the chapter related to the elemental sub class system. I will be refining it as we discover more when Gavel is released
• I have finished the chapter to do with the Gavelian script (Wynnic) though I may add information as we discover more
• I have gathered all possible information on armour, weapons and powders
• I have gathered as musch information as possible on the elemental mobs though the images will be changed
• I have completed locations of the Swamp in general, Llevigar, Aldorei Valley and the Realm of Light (More to come soon)

What I need to work on before the what I am calling "The Leakbook" is released will be getting ALL of the mobs that are not elemental, more locations and the Iron heart Pt. 2 quests. After this you won't hear from me probably until another teaser or Gavel is actaully released

 

Thankyou for that. Then I will work on this handbook, gathering from the wiki to my own creation and as I deveolop more interesting parts of my creation I will give back to the wiki what I have used.

 

i could help. I already have my own handbook. Its mainly a bunch of notes, theories, ideas, quest walkthroughs, and locations crammed into a sweet notebook. 250 pages, leather cover, all i need for a handbook.

I am doing that quest right now but It may tale timem to get the full transcript

 

I am going to pause the project for now until Gavel is released so that I will be able to have the wiki to assist me. The "Alpha" book is practically done except for the quest which I am doing until Gavel is released.
